In accordance with our common discipline of caring for
one another and the earth, following the mission of the Church
of the Nazarene in Mid-City, we endeavor to live simply by sharing our goods,
talents and skills in an organized online forum.
We acknowledge that with our gifts comes responsibility:
what we own is not our own. We agree that together we have “Just Enough,” believing we can provide for the
needs of the community, thereby strengthening the bonds of relationship, reducing consumption, and
lessening the tendency towards individualism.
Therefore, we freely offer these resources to our brothers
and sisters for the furthering of the Kingdom of God.
We believe that we are reconciled to God and one another through the
sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ and recognize the power of the Holy Spirit
to transform and sanctify the lives of all people.
We, therefore, devote our lives to
God and to one another, embracing the spirit of the early Church, the Wesleyan vision and
the mission of the Church of the Nazarene as we work together with other believers
extending God's Kingdom and grace through the proclamation
of the gospel, sharing of the sacraments and serving Christ among the poor.
